A condor ring around Copenhagen can quite easily be implemented without traffic chaos on the approach roads. There are two well-known technologies that can register the cars. The first system is used in London where a video-system tapes the car’s license plates which is then compared to the vehicle registration office. Hereafter, a bill is sent to the owner of the car. The other system is what most people know as BroBizz. Here a little box sends a signal to a customs system which registers the car. This system is rather known and is at the same time build on a common European standard. The price for the systems is more or less the same and the biggest cost will be to lead electricity and data cables to the control posts which are essential for both systems.
